Preschool child health checks

Does your child require a preschool health check? If you receive an income support payment during the financial year in which your child turns four, your child is required to undergo a health check, as part of the government’s Healthy Start for School program. Our practice nurse, Kirsten Immens, together with our doctors are now conducting these health checks. Even if you are not receiving income support, the health checks are recommended for all pre-school children to help make sure that children are healthy, fit and ready to learn when they start school.
